Meet our Sponsored Athletes 2018

Oli Caudwell

WE are delighted to introduce young Oli to the HOWL pack.
‘My name is Oli Caudwell, I am a 22 year old triathlete, living and working in Southampton, having graduated from Loughborough University in 2017.
Growing up I was a keen runner and cyclist. I ran a lot of cross-country, representing Dorset at regional and national XC championships for a few years. My cycling was less competition based and I was more focused on completing long distance sportives and challenges such as Lands End to John O’Groats. With my running and cycling background, I decided to join the triathlon club at Loughborough University and instantly fell in love with the sport. I have been doing triathlon for just over 18 months and have raced both in the UK and abroad. My most notable results have been 1st place at the Barbados National Triathlon Championships and 3rd place at the Bournemouth Triathlon. I have been provided with the opportunity to compete for the GB Age-Group team in the European Duathlon Championships in October, which is very exciting for me!
Moving forward, my focus is on improving my swim to allow me to qualify for the GB Age-Group Team at the European Triathlon Championships. From there I aim to become increasingly competitive at this standard year-on-year.
The support of HOWL Multisports is hugely appreciated for helping me to achieve my goals for this year! It is a great club, a great venue and has such a friendly atmosphere! If you haven’t been here to swim, you need too!
A huge thank you to the team at HOWL!’

Andy Piller (Pils)
Andy is a local Firefighter and after losing a dear friend he has set himself an epic challenge.
“All started when I got a London marathon spot in 2016. 3:28:16. Then I challenged myself to the Full IM Vichy last Aug in 37degree heat. Now I have this in a pledge to raise 40k by the time I’m 40 in memory of my late best friend raising money for Leukaemia Busters.
To date I have raised in excess of £31,000.00 since 2010 when the first Annual Golf Day took place.

I hope to achieve £40k by my 40th birthday 18/09/2020.
Without the support of family and friends my drive and determination to achieve this figure would not be possible.
