Course designed for those swimmers who are confident in the pool, already swimming open water or completed HOWL level 1 OW confidence course and want to venture into the world of open water / wild swimming or multisport training.
Minimum swim requirement:
Swim 750m Front crawl (200m nonstop)
Tread water for 60 seconds.
Float on back.
Maximum swimmer to coach ratio: 8-1
Once we are in the water our coaches cover the areas of breathing in different conditions, stroke technique for open water and navigation.
By the end of the course you will have the skills to make you a better open-water swimmer.
Swimming with confidence and navigate your way around our lake more efficiently and giving you a base to build your swim distance and the knowhow to start training or take part in multi-sports events.
